Piotr Cho³da Piotr Cho³da, received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunications from AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków, Poland in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He joined the Department of Telecommunications, AGH University of Science and Technology in 2006. His research interests focus on design and resilience of GMPLS based multi-layer as well as reliability modeling, QoR (Quality of Recovery), resilience-based differentiation concepts and QoS/QoR for peer-to-peer networking. Dr. Cho³da is the co-author of 18 refereed technical papers (5 of them are published in journals) and two tutorials. He is the recipient of the Communications QoS, Reliability and Performance Modeling Symposium Best Paper Award from ICC'06. He worked on network recovery problems in the following European Projects: IP Nobel/Nobel II, NoE EuroNGI/EuroFGI. Now he is involved in EU Projects SmoothIT and Euro-NF. He has served as TPC member for IEEE GLOBECOM'07, IEEE GLOBECOM'08, IEEE ICC'09 and IFIP Networking 2009. He was a TPC Co-Chair of NGI 2008. |
