- Marek Natkaniec received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunications from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow, Poland in 1997 and 2002, respectively. In 1997 he joined AGH University of Science and Technology. Now, he works as an professor assistant at the Department of Telecommunications. He is responsible for lectures, projects and laboratories of the computer networks. His general research interests are in wireless networks. Particular topics include wireless LANs, designing of protocols, formal specification of communication protocols, modeling and performance evaluation of communication networks, quality of service, multimedia services provisioning and cooperation of networks. He is a reviewer to international journals and conferences. He has/had actively participated in European projects: MOCOMTEL, PRO-ACCESS, DAIDALOS I, II, CONTENT, CARMEN as well as grants supported by National Science Foundation. Marek Natkaniec co-authored five books and over 100 research papers.
